Day 01 (Entry Beijing)
Meeting on arrival and check in the hotel. The left hours of the day if any are on your side for free individual arrangements.

Day 02 (Beijing) 
Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will be served Beijing Duck for dinner at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 03 (Beijing) 
One of the most important activities for the entire Beijing trip is the brief hiking at the Great Wall, Badaling section. Have lunch at a nice restaurant after a short drive. Continue the visit to the Sacred Road and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

Day 04 (Beijing-Urumqi)
After the visit of the fabulous Summer Palace. Leave for Urumqi by flight and transfer to the hotel.

Day 05 (Urumqi-Turpan) 
Drive to Turpan and transfer to the well selected hotel. Start the city tour with visiting the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.

Day 06 (Turpan-Dunhuang) 
Turpan safari will be wrapped up after the visit to the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill. Leave for Dunhuang by overnight soft sleeper train.

Day 07 (Dunhuang) 
Meeting upon arrival at the Liuyuan railway station and transfer to the well selected hotel in Dunhuang. You will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing Sand Dune to reach the Crescent Lake. Breakfast is on your side.

Day 08 (Dunhuang-Lanzhou) 
Visit one of the greatest Buddhism grottoes - the Mogao Grottoes. Leave for Lanzhou by flight and transfer to the well selected hotel. Visit the Waterwheel Garden on the way to the hotel.

Day 09 (Lanzhou) 
Drive about two hours to Yongjing County, then take speed boat to visit the Binglingsi Grottoes.

Day 10 (Lanzhou-Xining) 
Board the soft seat train to Xining and check in at the well selected hotel. Have a tour to the Ta'er Monastery and the Dongguan Mosque.

Day 11 (Xining-Xi'an)  
Leave for Xian by flight and transfer to the well selected hotel. Visit the grand City Wall upon arrival in the downtown. The following visit goes to the Provincial History Museum, which is famous for the quality and quantity of the collections it stores. 

Day 12 (Xi'an) 
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses unearthed near Xian is thought to be one of the great wonders of China and of the world. Drive through highway back to downtown to a decent restaurant to have well prepared food instead of the mass produced food around the site. Have a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque in the afternoon. After you enjoy the local speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day 13 (Xian-Shanghai)
Leave for Shanghai by flight and transfer to the well selected hotel. Drive downtown to visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and a local family. The Farewell Dinner is served at the Wang Bao He Restaurant which has a history of around 260 years of serving the best Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner is followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

Day 14 (Shanghai/Exit)
Be at leisure until the hotel-airport transfer is arranged for you according to your homebound flight schedule.
