Day 1 (Arrive Beijing)
Arrive Beijing in the afternoon by plane from your country, picked up at the airport and sent to the hotel for a rest.

Day 2 (Beijing)
Visit the Tian'anmen Square, Summer Place, Forbidden city and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 (Beijing)
Full day excursion to the Great Wall, Chang Tomb and the Sacred Road.

Day 4 (Beijing-Lanzhou)
Fly to Lanzhou. Visit the Five Springs Park, White Pagoda Hills.

Day 5 (Lanzhou-Xiahe)
Drive to Xiahe. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of the vast Sangke grassland Stay in Xiahe.

Day 6 (Xiahe-Lanzhou-Jiayuguan)
Visit the Labrang Monastery, then drive back to Lanzhou. Take an overnight train to Jiayuguan with soft sleeper (the first class in China).

Day 7 (Jiayuguan)
Arrive in Jiayuguan. Visit Jiayuguan Pass, the western end of the Great Wall. Stay overnight in Jiayuguan.

Day 8 (Jiayuguan-Dunhuang)
Drive to Dunhuang. Enjoy the Crescent Moon Lake surrounded by Mingsha Sand Hill. At the foot of the hill you may want to take an optional tour of slow camel ride.

Day 9 (Dunhuang-Turpan)
Visit one of most famous archaealogical discovery at the beginning of the 20th century--the Mogao Grottoes. Take a evening train to Turpan. Soft Sleeper (first class in China)

Day 10 (Turpan)
Explore Turpan, renowned in China for its grapes and Hami melons. Visit the Imin Mosque, the Astana Tombs, the ancient city sites of Gao chang and Jiao he. Visit the grape vineyards in the afternoon, where you can enjoy numerous kinds of grapes.

Day 11 (Turpan-Urumqi)
Visit the Karez Irrigation System the Thousand Buddha Caves and Flame Mountain. Take a train to Urumqi and stay there.

Day 12 (Urumqi-Kashgar)
Full day excursion of the Heavenly Lake. After dinner, take a short flight to Kashgar, one of the westernmost points of China. Stay in Kashgar.

Day 13 (Kashgar)
Visit the Apak Hoja Mazzar(Xiangfei Tomb) and the great Id Kah Mosque fronted by the busy square. Then roam through Kashar's colorful Bazaar.

Day 14 (Kashgar-Urumqi)
A free day to explore the exotic Kashgar. You can book some optional tours from the local guide if the weather and road conditions permitted. Fly back to Urumqi by air in the evening.

Day 15 (Urmuqi-Shanghai)
Fly to Shanghai by flight. Visit the Yuyuan Garden, the free market outside. Stroll along the waterfront "The Bund".

Day 16 (Shanghai)
Visit the Museum of Art and History, Jade Buddha Temple, Children's Palace, and France Rents the Boundary.

Day 17 (Depart Shanghai)
Depart Shanghai. Your fascinating journey comes to an end as you board your international flight home.
