Day 1 (Beijing-Hohhot)
Take a flight from Beijing to Hohhot, The capital of Inner Mongolia.

Day 2 (Mongolian Grasslands)
This morning we visit the 16th century Dazhao Lamasery built in 1579 and the Five Pagoda Monastery built in 1732, next we go to the Mongolian Culture and History Museum. After lunch take a venture into the Mongolian grasslands where we visit the Aobao Shan, Then we visit the local Mongols where the local people greet travelers to buttered tea and demonstrate Mongolian cultural activities such as horse racing and wrestling. Spend the night in a Mongolian Yurt Camp.

Day 3 (Hohhot-Baotou)
In the morning we return to Hohhot and take a private motor coach to Baotou. Then visit the largest and best-preserved monastery in Inner Mongolia. Wudangzhou was built in the Qing Dynasty. This afternoon we board our motor coach for Baotou, the major industrial and tourist destination in Inner Mongolia.

Day 4 (Baotou-Dongsheng)
Today we visit Resonant Sand Bay and cross the Great Yellow River Bridge on our way out to Dongsheng. Our destination in Dongsheng is the mausoleum of the Great Genghis Kahn. The coffins containing the remains of the Kahn are enshrined in this memorial designed in the style of three Mongolian Yurts before heading back to Baotou.

Day 5 (Baotou-Beijing)
Later in the morning we fly back to Beijing. The afternoon is free to explore or rest up for the main tour portion or your flight back to the states.

Day 6 (Beijing/Exit)
The morning is free before catching a flight home via Beijing.
