Day 01: Guilin (meal: D)
Arrive in Guilin today and meet your English-speaking tour guide and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle. Enjoy a local Folk Dance Show after dinner.
Day 02: Guilin (meal: B+L+D)
Full-day city tour to Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Folded Brocade Hill and Reed Flute Cave.
- Elephant Trunk Hill: Located at the conjunction of the Li River & the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.
- Fubo Hill: You can see lots of rock stone carvings & Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty.Have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Guilin city if you climb to the summit.
- Folded Brocade Hill: It gives you a bird's eye view over the beautiful landscape.
- Reed Flute Cave: Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites & stalagmites,learn how they are formed.
Day 03: Guilin / Yangshuo (meal: B+L+D)
Enjoy the cruise on the mirrored waters of the Li River striking you with its poetic scenery of misty pinnacles, gentle green riverbanks and quite river activities, Throughout the journey, your guide will point out landmarks and attractions. Disembark at the Yangshuo, a county famous for the beautiful pastoral scenery.
Day 04: Yangshuo (meal: B+L+D)
Rent a bike and ride through the Ten-mile Gallery,a narrow road lined on both sides with charming Karst-land scenery, to the Thousand-year-old Tree Park and Moon Hill which is the highest hill in the Yangshuo county. Explore the primordial Buddha Cave with flashlight to enjoy the fun of exploration of place unknown. Then have a free walk on your own in the West Street, shop whatever you like and have a cup of coffee at leisure in the cafe.
Day 05: Yangshuo / Longsheng (meal: B+L+D)
Drive in the early morning to Longsheng Multi-minority Autonomous County where Dong, Zhuang, Miao and Yao people live harmoniously together. The around-3-hour drive is exceptionally beautiful highlighted by rugged forested mountain slopes interspersed with a remarkable network of rice terraces, some rising several thousand feet in height. Climbing up the "Rice Field Mountains", called by the local people the Back of the Dragon, a wonderful view of mountainous villages will feed your eye. On the mountainside lives a group of Yao people. In this Ximen Red Yao Village, you will gain an inside glimpse at their unique life style and conventions. After the entire-day tiring drive, the last destination is Hot Spring Hotel in which the heated naturally-formed hot spring will remove all your fatigue.
Day 06: Longsheng / Sanjiang (meal: B+L+D)
Drive to Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County. On the way there, Yinshui Dong Village can not be missed. Living adjacent to the hill and close to the water, Dongs is a united, peace-loving and open-minded people. They have inborn nightingale-like voice and the song, the Sound of Cicada, has ever stirred the French society of music. Upon arrival at the Sanjiang County, drive with non-stop northeastward to Chengyang where the Yongji Wind and Rain Bridge, the largest, oldest and particular bridge of Dong people, bestrides tranquilly over the river. Surrounded by the bamboos, the hotel where you stay tonight is built totally by wood and just stands by the Bridge.
Day 07: Sanjiang / Guilin (meal: B+L)
Woken up by the crowing of the cock, promenade in the village to taste the fresh air and peaceful life: pupils with school bag on the back going to school, old people embroidering and carpenters working on the exquisite woodworking. After lunch drive back to Guilin and transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination. |
