- Reed Flute Cave: Known as 'the Palace of Natural Arts' this large and well-presented cave system has some remarkable formations. Make sure you have some small change for the children who sell flutes for as little as one yuan if you've got nothing less than a dollar you'll end up with their whole stock.

- Fubo(Whirlpool) Hill: It is located in the city proper. Fubo Hill is a 4A scenic spot of national grade. It is cliffy, propping up from the ground, famous for the Pearl-Returning Cave (nearly 350 steps to enjoy the view).

- Daxu Ancient Town: Daxu Ancient Town is in the township of Linchuan, 15km away from the city proper of Guilin.It is one of Guangxi¡¯s four ancient towns. The old street runs about 2km along the Li River. The narrow street is paved stone blocks, and the houses on both sides are well preserved.

- The Crown Cave: 29km from the south of Guilin, within the Caoping town£®

Day 4

Place & Transport: Guilin to Yangshuo

Today's Activities: Xingping,

- Xingping: 25km northeast of Yangshuo county. Rows of houses in the village were built with green bricks and black roof, with typical household characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The houses have a history of nearly 500years but are still well kept. Time left nothing on them, and history reappear before visitors.

- Hiking from Yangshuo to Baisha: Commencing in the southwest of Yangshuo, your experienced, English-speaking guide will hiking with you alongside the clean, fast- flowing waters of the Yulong River through the beautiful karst countryside for which this area is famous. You will walk through the peaceful and beautiful farmland and stop briefly in the 1200 year old village of Jiuxian, which dates back to the Tang Dynasty. Here you may pick up some of the luscious local fruits, appreciate the fantastic old buildings with delicate wood carving and have a talk with the locals. It¡¯s a great opportunity to see people and have a close-up view of their life. Then you will stop on the way at Dashi Bridge, where the Yulong River meets the Li River, giving you a surreal scene often portrayed in many Chinese paintings. You will also visit Xiangui Bridge, which is the oldest stone bridge in the Guangxi. (Total hiking distance: 30km, total hiking time: about 7 hours)
