A tributary of the Lijiang River, the Jinbao River heads from Yaoshan Mountain in the west of Yangshuo and runs through Longtan, Fenglou in Gaotian. Flanked by lush mountains and extensive farmland the river is so peaceful that it reflects the scenic surroundings on the water surface. At dusk and dawn, cook- ing smoke rises from the cottages nearby and mountains in the distance are veiled in mist  a stunning view of the countryside.

How to get there
Positioned between Big Banyan and Moon Hill the shooting spot is easily accessible by foot, bike or car. After Big Banyan, continue on the road to Moon Hill for approximately 800 metres, take the right turnoff and keep to the left along the mountain foot. The shooting spot by the riverside is about 800 metres from the turnoff.

Photography Tips
You mang choose a low angle view by the fiver or a high angle view on top of a rock on the left bank. Use front lighting for white clouds, blue sky and reflection of mountains, backlighting for sunrise shots.

As the track to the shooting spot is narrow, attention is required when driving and meeting another vehicle.
