Xitang,Yangshuo Tours

Located in Xingping, Yangshuo County, Xitang is Yangshuo's largest natural mountain lake, set amidst the striking backdrop of rolling mountains. The nearby mountains are widely planted with peach trees. Each spring, the mountains are covered in peach blossoms of red, pink and rosy colours. The beautiful view has aroused the interest of many photographers and tourists.
How to get there
Due to the poor road condition, Xitang is not serviced by any bus route yet, though it is accessible by car or local vehicle. From Guilin (approximately 45 kin): Proceed in the direction of Crown Cave. There is a road sign on the way close to Crown Cave, indicating the direction of Xitang. Follow the sign and turn to an uphill gravel road. Continue for 16 km and you will see a large pond on your left under the hill. This is Xitang. From Xingping (approximately 21 km): Turn left and follow a dirt road after getting out of Xingping. Turn left again at the first crossroad and continue in the direction of Crown Cave. Take a left turn at any fork and the mountain road will finally lead you to Xitang.

Photography Tips
Capture sunrise and morning glow in the east. Shoot with front light in the afternoon. Come in spring if you need to put peach blossoms in the foreground.
