Guilin Tour, yangshuo tour,The Yulong River

Being the biggest tributary of the Lijiang River within the boundaries of Yangshuo, the Yulong River is 43.5 km long with a drainage area of 158.47 square metres. Flowing gently through an area of extensive farmlands and beautiful peaks, the Yulong River has a different appeal than the Lijiang River. The most popular section is between Yulong Bridge and Gongnong Bridge, 15.3 km in length. You will find 28 overflow dams here in a beautiful rural setting lush bamboo groves, waterwheels, cottages and free range ducks. Drifting along the Yulong River on a bamboo raft is a popular traveling experience. There are many docking places on the route. You can choose to tour the river for the whole length or section by section.

How to get there
Take a Jinbao-bound bus at Yangshuo Bus Station and get off at Jinlong Bridge, or take a Guilin-bound bus and get off at Baisha before asking a three-wheeler or motorbike taxi driver to get you to the Yulong River. If driving or cycling, follow the road sign at Baisha and turn left. You can also proceed from the county town in the direction of Big Banyan and take the turnoff on your right just before Gongnong Bridge. Follow the river then.

Photography Tips
There are many shooting locations to choose from along the Yulong River. Let your shooting need decide.
