Zhuobi Peak is located by the side of the Lijiang River in the southeast of Yangshuo Town. Rounded at the base and pointed at the top, the hill resembles an inverted writing brush. The amphitheatre for the show Impression Liu Sanjie lies right at the foot of the hill. Looking to the east from Yangshuo Bridge, Zhuobi Peak stands out amid all the other hills around. Its beautiful reflection seems dissolved in the green bamboo-flanked river. This is one of the best spots in Yangshuo to photograph sunrise. Many shots taken here have been selected or awarded in photography competitions.

How to get there
The shooting spot is to be found at Yangshuo Bridge, one and a half kilometers south of the town. You can get there either by car or on foot.

Photography Tips
Generally, Yangshuo Bridge is the best spot to frame the Lijiang River with Zhuobi Peak in the background. Capture sunrise in backlighting, blue sky in front lighting or the misty rain on the river. For sunrise shots after late autumn, you will need to get to the opposite riverbank across the bridge because the sunrise position shifts.
